I wish that I could capture it a bit more focus with no tree behind it - I like the way the bird spread its wings against the blue sky
EDITED: In fact the shot was captured a bit too far, and when I crop it, it starts to pixelate in order to reveal the details of the flying bird (5 years and 2895 days ago)

This is a rather good photo, so how is one to vote for it?
The lighting of the feathers is enchanting, with the tail illumination doing a wonderful job of separating bird and trees. It came out fine, really!
@Jerostone & MossyB: In my opinion, I classify this image as an orphan due to "not so sharp" bird image especially with the head. In order to make it a good photo, I assume that the bird must be in focus wholly. I do appreciate your kind feedbacks and I will leave this image to the moderator to decide Thanks a lot
I too have tossed many shots like this. Right there but just does not POP for prints, but again hard to delete.
IMO the tree is ok but i do feel your pain.
