I tried to re-create Ansel's 1925 Roaring RIver Falls in King's Canyon. Here is a link to his original image.

well done, but why no High res?
friiskiwi: Sorry - I am new to this site and have no idea how to submit a shot as a hi-res. The original photo I took was very hi-res (e.g., 5616x3744), As I took this with my Canon 1Ds Mark III !

Upload the corrected image (if you have changed it)
remember to tick;
Also save full resolution image.
Your image doesn't need to be enormous, anything between 2.5mg and 3.5mg is plenty big enough.
Good luck
When you upload images there is also a box to tic for uploading the full Res. It really is worth while as the down sampled image you see here, doesn't do you photo justice.
friiskiwi: Thanks for the advice. The image has been re-posted at "Hi-res".
It's a lovely photo, perhaps a little on the dark side?
friiskiwi: I always appreciate the comments/feedback. Although histograms are 'within limits' for this image (e.g., white & black points) - I do have a slightly lighter version via adjustments to mid-tone levels in CS5 that tend to push this away from the 'noir' (Sturm und Drang) look, but I will assume that once an image has been posted (and has votes), it should not be altered (e.g., replaced with another version) - Yes?...
You are allowed to edit your image and upload a new version and even a different image even after voting has started, I guess that's why we have the comments so we can learn and improve.
Howdie stranger!
