This was taken at the Sandown Historic Racing Champs 2011. The driver is making his way to the track to race. He is aged beyond 80 years old (that's all he would give us!) and unlike every other competitor that day (who arrive in their transporter trucks laden with gear) he drives to and from the race meetings in this car and takes only a small toolbox for repairs. A true legend of the track! (5 years and 2871 days ago)

SWEET car! And I admire the old guy showing how it's done.
I like it
lol he wouldnt need a big toolbox since there probably might not be so many parts to find to replace anythign that breaks.. best is to just have it dragged home then.. I remember when I was a kid My parents had a lot of old motorbikes and yes they raced with it too. My stepfather never had many tools with him either, just his subscription to the roadservices that bring ya home if stranded... which happened often LMAO usualy on the way home after a tour in a motorclub weekend. But you shouldnt see the garagae.. its filled with parts and tools of all times...
Howdie stranger!
