It was 33 degrees this morning, and a heavy snow squall hit just as I was trying to make this shot. You can see fine white lines caused by the snowflakes swirling around this pocket in my rock garden. If you look closely, you can see one flake on the front-bottom petal; the snow almost instantly melts when it hits the warmer plant growth. That's March; the first flowers to tease you, but winter is not yet over. (5 years and 2815 days ago)
