Dark room, torch behind mask
I've been wrong before, but I just don't get how you did this. When I looked at the high resolution, which now seems to be gone for some reason, it sure looked like this was all painted on. It didn't even look like any of it was a photo. How can there be a torch behind the mask if the models head is behind the mask?
I don't know why you cant see the high res, it should be there, I did some Gaussian blurring the whole photo. the flash was very small and flat. I'll post a photo of it in an SBS as the original unedited photo.
Sorry, can't post SBS now, but I have the 2 photos here, for the mods or you if you wish I can email them to you. Happy to hear I managed to make the photo looks so unreal, which is what I set out to do.
it must be the gaussion blurring that makes it look like it is painted. it is weird because even the mask is lopsided. this is a great job, being a real photo.
exposure time was 1/10 of a second which would also have added to the effect.
