Thanks. You are so right. That's the beauty of photography. It captures a millisecond of an event, (whether earth-shattering or ordinary), but the image and the emotive elements that goes with it lasts forever. I had wanted to show him how well he turned out in the photo, but a deep muddy stretch of water separated us and so I waved to him and he waved back and that was that.
This would be perfect in a 'Great Outdoors' magazine. Awesome timing and so effective in black and white. Congratulations and goodluck !
