An aquarium? You say water was used, and the light & coloring at the bottom looks like the colored pebbles in an aquarium.

Well, you think the right way: there is a glass object, filled with water. Just it is not an aquarium. Not sure if we should reveal the mysteries in this contest, but at least this is funny to guess the abstractions =)
