This is a new power station being built to burn rubbish. It was opposed by local residents but the incinerator towers have still gone up. (5 years and 2661 days ago)

They built a huge one of those a bit north of us. It was opposed too, but went up anyway also. Now... they don't have enough rubbish to keep it running
Wow that is good going. There is landfill site nearby which is more of an eyesore. I guess it will burn at such a temperature that any pollution will be minimised?
