Dejected posture is good, would like to see the subject out of the center of the photo and maybe fewer bright colors.
I guess it just goes to show that being in a brightly lit place doesn't necessary promote a feeling of belonging.....thanks for the comment, though. As for center comp, sometimes it's okay. In this photo, he sits on the right side of the bench, so I think this compensates for the centering of the photo. Just me.
I'm usually not a fan of 'the centered subject', but it works very well here...for this theme. Shows him surrounded by space and emptiness. The textures are lovely here.
