The focus of this images seems strange, the bottom part and the background seem to be in focus, but the statues face seems to be OFF.

Ok, perhaps my glasses are wrong but principally in Hi Res I can not find that it's OFF... it looks strange like this.

I received a private message from a colleague this site, very strange by the way, telling me to take care with the comments that I do - especially with the praise - and I clearly know this will always take my photos for the last place, I do not care and I'm not here to win or lose but learn and make friends. I think we are free to make good comments that make people get excited and do not give up or lose interest in photography or for participation here. Sure, help improve, but there are ways and ways to talk things out. No need to put this post in the photo as competitor, thus influencing the other vote. I know many are here only for the competition and are really playing with people, playing without any scruples and their only purpose is to make that the photos will be deleted or receive bad grades. In this way, many good photos are at the end and the other start. Ok, some deserve first places.. I'm not generalizating. Look, I'm not talking about my work - my photos, and I do not care if after this post I will be deleted from the site. I just believe that certain standards have to be reviewed here. A good week for everyone. And if I will be deleted ... I stay with good friends that I met here.

Nice composition but wrong focus point. With a sharp monster and less sharp background leaves should be much better. Cheers.

Mrs. friiskiwi I give a damn for what you do or think or what you do with my photos, my job or my stay here in this site....but I can not see people stepping on others and I keep quiet. This was not the first time you do this and surely not the last. If other tell me opinions about my photos I take into consideration... but you or a door I prefer the comments from a DOOR.

And also Mrs. friiskiwi, only because you are at first places in the contest with photos that surely does not deserve it, but you are old here and a lot of "friends of you " have more vote power than others , that gives not you the right to be the "photography god" and perhaps take away the only manner of people to have fun in life. I surely think that if all have the same vote power that your photos were not at first. Consider to be more humble and not take advantage of situations, even if you have given life by the site does not have the right to take people's joy. Perhaps I'm telling you what a lot of people here wants to say but they know (I know but I don't have anything to lost here) that if they do it their photos always will have troubles and last positions. Hope you have more "light" in your life! I'm NOT TALKING about my ENTRIES, MY PHOTOS because I know I need to improve a lot but I'M TALKING FOR A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE here, who knows that if they told you something you make a X on the name and the person has no change again....
