I personally feel water shud be more in focus.
If the water was more in focus, this would be off theme. It appears the author is focusing on the wet seagull.
Oh i didn't see the tip of the beak. My bad.
Maybe some closer cropping would have made it more on theme. Even blurry, the element of the sea is more than evident in the picture, but then again IMHO
ok replaced it with one without sea
I agree with Jerostone. For this contest (with those rules) the bird might have been shot in another spot with another background, which is in conflict with what is written in the contest rules.
