Famous for series of tea estates spread across the hills makes it a tourism magnet. Munnar is a hill station on the Western Ghats, a range of mountains situated in the Idukki district of the Indian state of Kerala. The name Munnar is believed to mean "three rivers", referring to the town's strategic location at the confluence of the Madhurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers. If you are a bike lover, there is nothing better than an early morning ride across the tea estates, enjoying the aroma of tea gardens and interacting with the loacal Tea Leaf Pickers. It's a must wen u visit the southern India. :) (5 years and 2337 days ago)
