Maybe I'm wrong but I'm not sure about the use of photoshop here. I think this effect is done without it, only with a twine and a long time exposure. Author will confirm.

This is a hell of a beautiful picture, and I suppose we ought to be more careful when it comes to accusing people of trying to bent the standing rules!
Thanks, appreciate the compliment. The takeaway should be that there are many in-camera techniques for special effects that may look photoshopped at first glance and that some folks aren't aware of. A quick question via pm can resolve the issue I think.

It's a cool technique with some wonderful results available but you still need to practice and start with an interesting setup for the shot. Good luck with it!
