Super!
great, How many broken eggs?
Actually just 4... lots of practice doing these types of things. It's always fun breaking things though!
Wonderful shot
, I'd love to know how you did this.
not too hard... would love to let you know. I have to speedlight flashes on a wireless trigger/ controller, and the camera all set up on 3 separate stands, the camera on a tripod, the flashes on light stands. you can either use a 2nd person to shoot the gun (harder to time) or use a cable release to trigger the camera/flash at the proper time (better chance for good timing) and a few eggs as targets on a pole pounded into the ground... then it's all timing after that.
Camera settings ISO 1600, 1/8000th, f8 ; flashes at 1/32 power, high speed sync at about 1 meter away (so they don't get covered in egg guts)
Quite impressive. Thanks for the info on how it was done.
Thanks for the info, it sounds like messy fun.
And thats photography!
Great idea and super technique!
Congrats James, wonderful shot! 1st place well deserved
Congratulations James, Lovely to see you participating again. That will certainly raise the bar.
