I really like the idea behind this, however I wish the people were not in the background. Where was this taken?
It's Moeraki Boulders, Otago, South Island of New Zealand. I agree about the people, but being a tourist attraction, it's pretty near impossible to get photos without people there.

if you get the chance to go there again, not for a contest try this method.

I could easily have used Photoshop to remove the people but the rules for this site does not allow it. I actually think I have some other photos from that day where I did remove the people.
