Every spring the cliff sparrows return (they are the ones who go to Capistrano). When they do, as they did a couple of weeks ago, they build new mud nests completely from scratch. (5 years and 946 days ago)
Congratulations on a well taken photograph and I have no idea how you got so close (well maybe I do). Solid image through and through with good contrast and colour, sharp, good exposure and plenty of marginal space.
