I cannot help but feel that this is a staged photograph, not that there is anything wrong with staging images...Nat Geo photogs do it all the time. But this image gives the viewer an uneasy feeling that the attention is on the book and not on the child. Technically a nice photograph.
Sorry to tell you how wrong you are, nothing staged about this photo. No idea who the woman is, but with this weeks contest about books, I thought it was a perfect opportunity, and she was far too absorbed in the book to notice me. Did think of telling her about Audio books.
