Nice photo, and it's great to see you have taken the trouble to set the scene. However, your colour balance needs a bit of tweaking. The shadows are also too dark.
Do you realise you can make adjustments to you photo and replace the entry with the corrected photo.

Made me hungry this one,not sure about the asparagus though

I was scanning all the photos and came to this creation first...my kinda calories. YUM. Your photograph has a lot of visual impact both in textural quality, compositional style, and technical elements. It is sharp and in focus which makes my mouth water. The colour palette is exquisite and contrast is good showing no block ups. I can't stand this contest....it's almost lunch time over here and I'm making grilled cheese....with Swiss cheese.
