An early winter windstorm with gusts over 70 mph took down the wires and poles connecting Bailey and Orr’s Islands in coastal Maine. It took three days to restore power to Bailey. The diagonals are the downed wires, which could only be reattached during high tides. All traffic was stopped during the repairs. (5 years and 692 days ago)
