Oh DANG....wish you had some artist's notes on this interesting photograph. What is going on? Never mind, I just asked Uncle Google and did you know a suicide bomber blew himself up at this ceremony in 2014...good thing you weren't there. Well, I love everything Indian from Masala Dosa to Gurus to this colourful uniform. The ceremony itself has a lot more sparkle to it than this posed picture shows and that would have been a great catch....alas, here is a posed photo of a uniform. Clear and sharp and much mystery about the story is present. Nice entry.
Well, I have other memories and other photos than this one which I chosed because of the uniform! The temperature was 49°C. It was joyful and colorful on the Indian side, and so sad and dull on the Paki side. It was in May 2013.
49C....yes, that shows with the people at the bottom, half melted and now I can see the sweat. I'm surprised your camera didn't explode! Did you see the documentary on Global Warming showing the asphalt melting on the roads and the Indian people with their flip flops getting stuck on the asphalt! Thank you for opening up my eyes to this Wagah Ceremony and enlightening me. Gracias, Merci, Khop Khun mak khaa, Dyakoyou, Arigato.
Actualy, I had problems with my camera, was not the only one. And I badly burned my feet on the marble steps to get to the Golden temple, as it is not allowed to keep your shoes or even your socks there. I remember the scratchy noise when it happened
I like your emoji...how can I do that? Yes, I understand what you are saying. We needed to remove our shoes at some temple in Nepal and the whole place with full of monkey shit, bird shit, the steps exhaled the stench of human urine....sacred, yeah right.
Still, the list of emojis is at the bottom of the page you use when you wish to write to a friend. Write something to me and you should see them
But I'm here in this comment box and I scrolled to the bottom of the page and there is nothing there. So, are you saying I have to go out of this comment box ....and carry an emoji from another page to over here. Please don't laugh at me....I'm a wee tad retarded when it comes to computers (and photoshopping beautiful images like on the photoshop section of this site).
Yes, you can copy and paste them (they each have a code with letter and typographic signs), or just type the code. They are not on this page but on the bottom of the page you go when you want to write a Private Message to somebody. To make them appear you must click on the icon of one of your friends (me for exemple hi hi hi). After that you clap your hands 3 times, you nod and say Yippie. And no I'm not laughing at you
waaaahhhh what a whole load of hard work :hammer
see it didn't work I typed in the code which is :hammer and nothing shows up.
You forgot a colon :
I'm an idiot.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOO I did it. Thank you.
