The Saint-Louis lighthouse in Sète (South of France) is at the end of the Saint-Louis pier. It was built around 1680, then demolished in 1944 by German mines. In 1948 the decision is made to rebuild it. It is currently still used to signal the entrance to the channel and is open to the public. (5 years and 602 days ago)
