It is nice how most all the chess pieces are in focus and our eyes gravitate to them. I do think there is a slight tilt to the right giving an unstable feel, also a bit more exposure would pop this photo and add a needed brightness. The diagonal bar at the left grabs our attention and takes away from the chess board game. The warmth of the photo is felt and we get the sense this is a treasured chess set.
Thanks you for this review. I tested it again with a grid, there is no tilt, this is an illusion due to the receding lines. And I wanted it dark...
