Simple but effective,good eye to get this
Good catch (excuse the fish pun). I think had you added more darkness (shadow effect) it would be a stronger image. Try it and see what happens...take your shadow light lever or your L (levels) and play with it.

This is an old picture I took with my first digital camera,an Olympus (only 4 megapixel) but she worked well ..
I noticed the change straight away! It does not look as washed out as before. You have heard the old adage "It's not the camera, it's the photographer!" A 4 megapixel matters naught, it's the 6 inches behind it that matters!
