author says:

It's a fine line between white and white-out, especially on a white subject. I purposely overexposed the original to this point to try to get the high key effect. The original has lots of detail, and if you look at the zoom, there is still hairs to be seen. Perhaps I over did it, since high key is new to me. I usually prefer more contrast and detail. Thanks for your interest.
