But, this poor little possum passed away after days of me trying to save him. He was kept warm and comfortable but he didn't make it unfortunately! (5 years and 2898 days ago)

You shouldn't hate to show these types of images. From a photographic standpoint, they are very dramatic. But, probably more importantly, from a humanitarian standpoint, awareness is the first, and probably biggest battle to be won before things can be made better. Good job!
