This was taken just outside of Silverton, Colorado on Red Mountain Pass. There is a crazy frozen river running through an old mine shaft on the north side of the pass. (5 years and 3164 days ago)

Black and whites are lovely, but this one doesn't quite make it, Contrast is usually a good thing in a B/W but in this the the highlights are too light. The focus is not the best, looks like a bit of camera shake to me.
