The one that I screwed up for good

Thanks, friiski. For good, for bad, the thing is that is not working, Something with the electronic part of the cam. Canon technicians asked for 400 euros in order to have it fixed. Total disaster!
400 Euros is about 800.00 Canadian - OUCH!!!! good shot
Thanks, Tc. Mind you, this is the Canon Eos 1000d, which you can find at Amazon for less then 400 euros (OK, used maybe!)These people are crazy!
I think I remember that. I'll get it fixed for you for 500 euros

Note: It's not blurry....it's softened for a more romantic effect.
did you soften the whole photo or just the mirror image?
I see what you mean. It does appear softer in the mirror. No, I softened the whole image, lowering the contrast.
you might have gotten the same effect by using more DOF with just the reflection sharp, might have made the photo more interesting IMHO.

The background is quite distracting. Would have been much better with a simpler one.
Agree. However I had to shoot quickly when I saw I had his attention.
