Author, to create a more "Abstract" effect, maybe crop out the shore line on the top? I think it may better then fit the title you gave. Nice entry though

I think if you crop out the shoreline, you won't see the trees that are reflected and the reflection will then be more of a distraction than a great element of the photo. Nice shot!

Thanks Juniper. I thought that just getting the "pattern" of the vaulted arches rather than the actual frame of an arch would make an interesting departure from the usual.

Without a High-Res, we really can't see the image properly, what we see here is a down sampled version of what you uploaded, this is why it's important to tick Also save full resolution image. You can still do this, don't even need to upload your image again.
