Interesting, but quality is very low.

author says:

Yes, I know. It is part of a larger touristy photo which I need to crop to death to come within the "one window only" contest requirements. My hope is that the "interesting" part brings some value to the otherwise very low quality photo?

Yikes! It's a shame the picture you paid for could not have been of better quality. It's really blown out.

author says:

yeaah... know that. Actually, i had to cut it, coz I was there... :/

Moderator says:

oyyyyee. How do you blow your nose or wash your face..never mind brushing your teeth? Bet you can hear him coming down the street. Great find, agree with jawshoe about quality.

have you tried messing with curves or contrast?
Not only is this rebellion but it is an addiction too

avatar creativefreedom

There is nothing wrong with the "curves" or the "contrast" Its not "blown out" It is a great photograph in every way-

I like the grainy effect this has as well as the image --- reminds me of using some of the old B&W films with contrasty papers

creativefreedom.....why are you so defensive about this photo? I never said it was "blown out" (even though the top is a tad) I just think it would look a bit better if the gray/black was a bit darker to stand out more --hence messing with the curves/contrast. Jeesh
