I shot this at such a fast shutter speed with a small enough aperture that the surrounding areas were completely underexposed. I decided later I liked the way it looked. (5 years and 3157 days ago)

This is purely my personal opinion but I think the vibrant colour on the tat pulls the eye up away from the smile a bit. It is a very nice capture though, and you can tell she was a pretty fun and easy model to work with!
Yeah I see what you are saying. I'd love to go in there in photoshop and desaturate it a bit, but that would be cheating
and i don't want to desaturate everything, because i love the color of her lips.
