Thanks for all the comments. The photo was probably taken with my first digicam which was a 1 mp HP Photosmart. Granted that doesn't mean I couldn't get a sharp photo, but not many selections for shade other than Program mode in it.

What eggs. It's a great macro author but off theme! Everyone should know spiders don't care for young. At least to my knowedge. This would have been more convincing if there was at least an egg sack.

a little out of focus
I agree that it's a little out of focus and also the horizon is crooked - you can straighten this in most Photo software if you haven't got photoshop.
I'd say VERY oof and weak contrast.
