The names on the plaques at the ANZAC Park Cenotaph were compiled by the Nelson Returned Services Association. The three pillars note key locations where New Zealand armed forces were in combat. An additional plaque was added to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli to the monument in 1990. An additional plaque was added in 1992, to the monument to commemorate those who gave their lives during the Korean War 1950 – 1953. Around the park under trees planted in memorium can be found various plaques commemorating different sectors of the armed services. (5 years and 2985 days ago)

Very nice photograph, and very informative description, thank you!
It's a good photograph. How about taking it a little bit to the right? It might be able to show the perspective more? That's only an opinion though Or probably, taking it at night time, where the road lamps are lit?
"taking it at night time, where the road lamps are lit?"
You think I'll go walking in a park at night??
It's a shame all these live lost in the name of freedom and we can't take a walk in the park at night
