When I downloaded the photo I noticed that there is also remnants of a jelly fish.
The baby seagulls were very happy with their catch of the day! (5 years and 3003 days ago)

On the left, a 1933 Agfa 120mm roll film camera. No battery, no meter, no flash...
On the right, a 2009 Canon 50D w/ BG-2n battery grip and speedlite 580EX II Flash.
The '33 Agfa STILL works, I can only wonder if the Canon will still function in 76 Years... (5 years and 3538 days ago)
Darn! That's almost the exact shot I was going to do! (except I wouldn't be seen with a Canon ) Good shot. GL
I actually wanted to go with a Nikon D3s but I already had a rather sizable collection of Canon L Series glass i couldn't afford to replace at the time....I've been rather happy with the 50D and have a 7D on order.
excellent shot.. just that flash light or flash light cap is a bit distracting.. I see that you have been collecting cameras.. thats really cool.. would you mind sharing the list of what you have collected so far?
Agree with iquraishi the flash upsets an otherwise wonderful shot.
i absolutely love this.
No hope, Author! a microscopic piece will suddenly stop functioning the minute after the guarantee is over and they will tell you that particular piece had been produced for only 3 months and they will be happy to offer you a 1,03-dollar discount on the purchase of a new 10,000-dollar camera!!!
wonderful idea ! great shot !
@ iquraishi, without giving away too many clues to possible future entries, a partial list of what I've been collecting is: 1929 Kodak hawkeye 2a, this '33 Agfa, 2x '40's Kodak Folding Brownies, 3 or 4 different 1950's brownies (Kodak) 1967 Polariod LandCamera 900, 1918-20 Mahagony 8x10 field camera (the old wooden type with the hood and glass plate negatives) and a few newer ones too...1970's Pentax P3, Canons A - series cameras, Pentax K-100 and a bunch more...at last count there are nearly 25 total cameras
Pentax! (I use a K-7)
Wonderful idea.....I just love the comparison of new and old technology. GL
Congrats on your 2nd, excellent work, well done.

great idea
Very nice. Might work better if you rotated it so it was vertical (it'd look like something was about to drop)
great idea, and good photo.
