It is here where one purifies their hands and mouth before entering a shrine in Japan. This is a long-standing cultural tradition. (5 years and 806 days ago)

The Thai greeting referred to as the wai consists of a slight bow, with the palms pressed together in a prayer-like fashion. The higher the hands are held in relation to the face and the lower the bow, the more respect or reverence the giver of the wai is showing. The elderly are always shown reverence by the young and even toddlers have their hands pressed in a wai by doting parents teaching them this greeting at a very young age. (5 years and 806 days ago)

Amazing colors, set off well by the gray sky.
Thank you, it was raining that day.

Well seen and taken photo, those dead plants add a surreal feel to this.
Many thanks for taking the time to view the image and for providing such gracious feedback. Much appreciated.
Doug
your welcome
OH my, this is top notch image taking. Simple strong and engaging with good exposure, details clearly seen. I love it. Welcome aboard Korea...hope you give some reviews too as this site is really lacking in constructive critiques.
I too love this image. Great warm colour; super horizontal lines (I like horizontals!); but the photo is 'made' by the spindly vegetation reflected in the water to create those interesting shapes. Your eye wanders all over the photo looking at the details. Very well done.
Many thanks for the kind feedback. Much appreciated.
