It's very unusual in my country that it rains only in a small area (the blurry orange in the middle of the photo). In the foreground and the background of the photo it didn't rain at all. (5 years and 2813 days ago)

I would have cropped this right to the edge of the pole becuse the brightness of the wood leads your eye straight to that, not the actual focus of the photograph...the lock.

Thanks a lot for your comments.
I chose to follow Vibeke's opinion so there is negative space on the right side of the frame so even there is nothing there is technically more correct (the eye of the viewer begins from the treasure chest & ends on the negative space & not the other way around).
