maybe because a facial expression on something shows that this thing has to show something, for example look at statues, sculptors have gave them facial expression to demonstrate life, to give a personality to the character , but when we've got to capture something which looks really inanimate, IMHO , i think there should not be facial expression. Hope you understand me now , good luck !
