Absolutely stunning Author I really like this. Although you would have poor Ansel rolling in his grave with your underexposed areas. The whole reason for the zone system was to figure out how to properly expose the scene so you don't have under or over exposure. But since I don't personally agree with his theory I think you shot is superb

I do thank you for your comments, however, over and under expose depends, surely, on the time of day. As this was early morning, the light was as you see it. The image was shot looking almost east, north east I guess, but not as far back round the compass as that. Any attempt to lighten the trees would have rendered the entire image useless. It would not have the effect that I was looking for, that which is here.
