It was done in Photoshop from 1 image. I had several version, will see if I can re-create it and make a tutorial.

It's a great shot. But whatever is in the bottom left corner is distracting. You might consider cropping it.
Yes I would say to crop the water at the very bottom, leave the fence, it frames the shot-it will be much better!!
