This specific $1,000 dollar bill was printed in 1928 and has the portrait of the twenty-fourth president Grover Cleveland printed on. The 1,000 dollar bill and all bills over $100 were printed until 1946 before they were discontinued. They then were then allowed to circulate in the general public until 1969 were they were recalled. The only remaining $1,000 dollar bills are the ones that were not turned in on the recall. There are very few bills left and are all worth thousands of dollars. (thus the reasoning for keeping this Item) it is rare, and one day will be passed to my kids (5 years and 3233 days ago)

I saw one of these the other day on Pawn stars. He pawned the 1000 bill for like 7 grand. The $500 are also collectible. You know why they discontinued them? I guess the feds got wind of just how easy it would be to launder dirty money when you can carry a million bucks in your pocket in a short stack of bills. Plus the counter fitting aspect.

I dont know why it was Discontinued, I got thia bill from an Ex boyfriends grandmother when she passed away and Ive held onto it since I have other bills too, and some coins from when they were first made. You would think with the American dollar not holding its value these days that this bill would be worth the same, but it is actually a very pricey item to have

I took this shot about 5.30pm tonight of one duck and ended up with two heads reflected under the water. When I first looked at it on the camera I thought I'd captured an eel coming up for a look. It's a little oof unfortunately but I quite liked the affect. (5 years and 3741 days ago)
