I attempted several angles and positions on this rope, and concluded this was my best shot. I'm not professional, just using the eye that I was born with. Point, focus, and shoot, are my only techniques. (5 years and 3468 days ago)

Thanks for your feedback. I chose this shot out of another with a focused background, because I felt with this one, with it focused on the rope, it gave more of a sense of the rope pulling you down. I urge you all to look at the High Reolution to get a better feel of the area where it is focused.

I did look at the High Res before my first comment, and still feel it needs a deeper DOF.
