You must be an avid bird watcher if you can tell them apart by their songs. I should pay more attention to these things.
LOL... I have the Magpie song as my ringtone on my mobile, and a kookaburra as my text tone. It's great when I'm out in a shopping centre or somewhere and my phone goes off, I always know it is mine...
Well at least I can tell a kookaburra by its laugh.
A laughing kookaburra always makes people smile.

Oh a lovely female Red-tailed Black Cockatoo, we only get the Yellow-tailed blacks where I live.
Thanks Megan. They look lovely with the tail feathers spread out in flight but I didn't get a good photo of one in flight. Next time we go to that place for a holiday I might do a better job with the photography if practice makes us better photographers.
