I would have shot at a different perspective, like closer to the base of the bottle.
This was taken in my room; was a quiet afternoon.
Used Photo Filter, Curves & Hue&saturation adjustments. Cropped the sides. :) (5 years and 3302 days ago)

My left eye ! (5 years and 3308 days ago)
They are some nice looking eyes. If you could somehow shoot it without the spots from the ceiling lights, this would be great!
wonderful blue, does everybody have blue eyes??
Good observation Ray... I took this picture inside of a restaurant (the people around probably thought me and my girlfriend were weird), and when we got home we tried to reshoot, but it wasn't as good because of the lack of light...So I had to keep this one
you said " the people around probably thought you adnd your girlfriend were wierd" ... so is this her eye ? or yours? because in this contest ...
" Take a shot of your own eyes in a creative way" --- key word : YOUR OWN EYE
you yourself have to take the shot of your own eye, no one should take the shot for you, nor should you take a picture of anyone elses eye !
please let me know.. ill hold my vote, till i know if this is your eye that you took your self.
Yes it's my own eye and I took the shot myself with my camera... And even if she was the one taking the shot, I don't think it would be off theme, but that is my opinion.
FYI, I was including my girlfriend in the previous comment because we both like taking pictures...
This might be just my opinion but if your girlfriend were to take the picture it wouldn't be your picture but hers. If she would act like a remote control by which I mean that she would push the shutter(and do absolutely nothing else, not even hold the camera) when you ask her to do so it would be still your picture.
As for the actual pictures. I love the color of your eye. The blue is darker than it usually is which makes it much more interesting to look at. I do have to agree with Ray, the ceiling lights are little distracting in this picture.
YEA!!!!! ITS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really believe that the blue light you use here "spoils" the mood of your composition...
You got wood, horn & a very nice set on your table.
You need a warm / well coming light here.
Blue is just tooo "cold"!
I really like the blue background and the blue hue.
Except I do think that another color like purple or something slightly warmer would have been better. (sorry for the comments being split in two)
