Nice shot, but you need to remove the watermark on this site

Nice shot, but this is more of a dock than a pier (and you need to remove the watermark at this site)
Dock: The area of water between two piers or alongside a pier that receives a ship for loading, unloading, or repairs. (American Heritage Dictionary).
To me, this is a pier.

the highlights are too blown, hard to see that it's a boat.
I agree with Friiskiwi, but it's a cute idea
That's what happens when you done meter the highlight. But to be fair, metering the "swan" would make the interior of the boats too dark?
funny
nice idea..and i do agree.. the main subject is a blown out.. there are ways to correct it in camera, like changing the exposure compensation in a drop down menu. bracketing the shot, using a fill flash for the regular boats, waiting for an overcast day,or differnt part of the day (early am later pm)....and i'm sure there is others... overall it is a great concept and pretty funny... thanks for sharing the photo
Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I agree...it is blown out. I knew I had the photo and it fit the contest, so I submitted it. I'd love to go back and take a little more time with this subject.
Funny, good photo
