Very Creative
This old mission rocker was built around the time of my great grandmother's birth in 1900.
It was a familiar fixture in her parent's lives, her life, the life of my grandmother, mother, myself, my nieces, and now another generation.
It has become a common thread and reminder of time through the lives of 7 generations over more than a century. (5 years and 3573 days ago)

What lovely memories, thank you. I do feel the image could use a little more contrast.
nice interpretation of times past...........I agree with the contrast comment though.
Thanks for the advice guys. I think I like it better in color anyway.
Absolutely lovely image, and right on theme.
Nice memories... but something that valuable (even if only sentimentally) should be brought in from the snow.
Awesome to have such a wonderfl memory - take care of it
Don't worry kyricom that doesn't sit out in the snow. It spent many years on my great grandmother's front porch though.
glad to hear it. I'll sleep better tonight.

I'm wondering if this would not look better in grayscale
Very cool. You can tell where the soil level used to be. Josh might be right about the grayscale. might also play around with cropping a bit off the top and right so it isn't so centered
