a box abandoned in the street after the rain (5 years and 3043 days ago)
Nice capture, but a bit too "target centered" in the picture plane. This would have been more powerful an image if composed a bit better with the "rule of thirds." It is eye catching enough that you don't need to command the eye to see it by placing it in the center.
Agree with MossyB. Probably having the box placed at the 1/3 line from the bottom and getting closer to it could make the box becoming a bit more pronounce as the main object? Anyway, love the saturated colour, reflection on the water and how the leading line created by the "river". Well done

For those who know ... The Hasselblad H4D-40 Ferrari Edition. (5 years and 3061 days ago)
Perfect for those kid snapshots except for $30,000 it doesn't have a built-in flash. By the way, can I borrow it some weekend?
Didn't Mr. M put this up as first prize for this theme?

Carved by my great grandmother in 1890 (5 years and 3080 days ago)
What a wonderful heirloom! Beautiful lighting - accents the carving nicely.
Thanks, and we use it everyday.
