The famed restaurant The Band Box, more casually known around these parts as The Box, was a truly greasy and wonderful diner in the south part of downtown Little Rock. The burgers were greasy, but they were good and you could find every sort of businessman and politician rubbing elbows with the common folk -- sometimes even at the same table. The place was tiny. I loved to sit at the bar and watch the burgers being made. This incarnation of the restaurant closed in June but the new location is supposed to open this month less than a mile away. I wonder if they're moving the grill with everything else; I can't imagine how the burgers would get that trademark flavor otherwise. (5 years and 3379 days ago)
wonderful idea (Where is Dr Who), However I would crop the road, also thing of the rule of thirds, so the phone box isn't in the middle.
I should have mentioned... back in his Arkansas years, The Box was one of those great hamburger places where you could sometimes find a young governor by the name of Bill Clinton.
Wonderful story, but you need to do some curves and colour correction, at the moment the food looks rather unappetising.
friiskiwi, I'm still learning Photoshop (as in, just started using it a few weeks ago). Would you be able to direct me to a tutorial dealing with curves? I'm very interested in learning. I appreciate your comments.
will do
great story, but I doubt the burgers will ever taste the same again.............part of the charm would have been the location!
agrees with ade.
Oh and curves: image/adjustment/curves or Ctrl/M Although I doubt curves would help you much.
