When the lakes freeze in northern Canada they make an eerie laser type sound. I took this while working in a remote Indian reservation a few years back and I can honestly say that sitting there on the bank of that lake was one of the most tranquil moments I have ever experienced. There are stairs right along the river, where somedays I sit down, have peace and are isolated from the noise town, whereas I'm right in the heart of it. (5 years and 2511 days ago)
