Beautiful clarity and lighting.

Very nice. The wave looks a little bit odd in high res though.

I guess seeing what hurricanes can do to piers with NOTHING on them that seeing things like this really freak me out! Great shot! Love the tones

very noisy and it's leaning too the right.

I agree with friiskiwi..... and there is something elso going on here, there is a blurred border arouns the entire pier structure, like it has been cut and pasted and the edges smoothed over.

author says:

this picture was taken yesterday at 5.15pm, iso 100, shutter speed 1/250sec and it was fogging. Actually there is no noise in the picture, its the effects from the fogging mist and i also implement askew angle to take this photo preferably by most modern photographer..and for ade there is no yadda2 what so ever edited in this photo... btw ade have you tried photomatix software? believe me you should try. i just shoot this photo in fogging day, hdr, and crop thats it. If you guys have a chance, try to shoot in fogging day, its very interesting.

I agree with the noise.....but it kinda works with the angle. Makes it kinda like a haunted pic.

Ade...the author is correct about the "halo", photomatrix will at times cause a strange halo-ing effect when the saturation levels are pushed a bit in tonemapping. I have been experencing that problem with the entry I'm preparing.

author says:

and again captego ....its not noise...the grainy things is from the mist, fog

Well, I guess I'm not a 'modern photographer', but I can live with that.
