I'd recommend a crop using the Rule Of Thirds. Try it vertically. Pretty shot.

Thanks for the comments, all! BeardedWorm, this is a high key shot so I'm not sure how well it would turn out if I reduced the lights. :P The background is SUPPOSED to be blown out.
Rbsgrl, I thought of that while shooting but I still feel it is on topic as the paint can takes up a great deal more space than the paint itself. All the best!

Nice shot, but vignetting isn't allowed.

Theoretically its not a vignette, its a lens correction, which is allowed. It also has a little to do with using a crop body lens on a full frame camera.

Thanks itsmymoment, I did consider cropping this but didn't want to lose so much in the way of quality/pixels. Should have shot it as portrait but I will know better next time

Author...usually if I'm conflicted on wich way to shoot...I try to get one or two quick shots in BOTH landscape and portrait, then decide later when i put them on screen which is better, just a hint for future reference...
