come on now! "other things" can be the white poster board you use as a background or the black fabric you use to place your subject on. I think they mean "other things" as in people, flowers, electronics, animals, plates, beer cans, etc. etc.

I agree with k5683, this is clearly a picture of a bull, not a picture of trees etc.

Agree...welcome author, and for future reference, grainy (unless for artistic purposes), oof and poorly colored images just won't make it into the top 7 in any contest. Concentrate on the basics and post only your best work and you should do fine.
